Description

Only one point is missing for Fabian Prohaska to qualify for the Abitur. Just a single, damned point! And all because his Latin teacher, Mr. Engelhardt, an old-school educator, refused to accept Fabian's homework submission two minutes late as a matter of principle. Fabian's father, Manfred Prohaska, cannot believe it and decides to take matters into his own hands. One Friday afternoon, he storms into Fabian's school teacher’s lounge to confront the nitpicking Latin teacher. Klaus Engelhardt is still present. Along with him are the French colleague Lohmann and the gentlemen Arndt, Vogel, and Mertens. All five are mentally already in the weekend and show little interest in the concerned father's issue. Only the trainee teacher Bettina Schuster, who is also present, still exudes ambition. "On a Friday afternoon after 3 p.m., that’s just not possible," says colleague Lohmann. And because the established teaching staff is unusually united on this point, everyone wants to leave. Manfred Prohaska sees red and pulls out a pistol.
