An event with poems by Endo Anaconda and Ariane von Graffenried as well as music by Boris Klečić

Description

In the web in which I live: An event with poems by Endo Anaconda and Ariane von Graffenried as well as music by Boris Klečić
Moderation: Markus Iseli Endo Anaconda was a singer, poet, and language artist – known as the head of Stiller Has and for texts that uniquely combine wit and melancholy, everyday life and abyss. Until shortly before his death in 2022, he worked on spoken texts, which are now published under the title In the web in which I live together with poems from his estate. Ariane von Graffenried brings a selection of these texts to the stage and pairs them with her own poems and spoken texts from Babylon Park. Her writing also lives from the sound of language, rhythm, and language shifts. The connection of literature and music has shaped her work for many years, including in the spoken-word duo Fitzgerald & Rimini. She is accompanied by Boris Klečić, who has previously collaborated with Endo Anaconda and whose spoken texts are musically extended with guitar, sound, and noise. Thus, a performance of language and music is created, in which Endo Anaconda's unmistakable poetic world meets Ariane von Graffenried's own powerful language art. Ariane von Graffenried, born in 1978, is a writer and a PhD in theater studies. She is a member of the author Bern is everywhere and performs with musician and sound artist Robert Aeberhard as the duo Fitzgerald & Rimini. She has received multiple awards for her literary work, including the Grand Literature Prize of the City and Canton of Bern in 2022.
