What do you see? And: Are you sure? The medium panorama was a spectacular illusion machine in the 19th century and made stories appear deceptively real. Today, artificial intelligence creates images that seem disturbingly real. What connects the analog illusion of the past with today's digital images? And what does that do to our view of the world? Valentin Groebner, Professor of History at UniLU, and Ann-Christin Bertrand, curator and head of the "Camera Arts" program at HSLU Design Film Art, discuss with Alexandra Könz, director of the Bourbaki Panorama Museum, about images, illusions, and reality.
