The Duo Stiehler/Lucaciu stands for a unique fusion, where classical meets jazz and comedy meets pop – music between the courage to close your eyes and go crazy while sitting. After a sold-out tour in 2024 and collaboration with the MDR Symphony Orchestra, the Duo Stiehler/Lucaciu is back – with their new studio album and the concert film "The London Sessions," recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. A collection of their most successful songs, including classics like "Plagwitz" or "Blauer Flamingo," are performed here in impressive Abbey Road versions – enhanced by the captivating playing of drummer Dominique "Gaga" Ehlert. As a highlight, the musicians pay a loving homage to the Beatles and interpret the two world hits "Here Comes The Sun" and "Blackbird" in touching, beautiful instrumental versions. Sascha Stiehler and Antonio Lucaciu met over 21 years ago at a youth music competition and have been not only musically best friends since then. The two Leipzig musicians are among the most renowned in the German scene, having played with music greats like Clueso, Daniel Hope, Max Prosa, Elif, or Günther "Baby" Sommer, and appeared in numerous TV formats.

General Information

The Duo Stiehler/Lucaciu presents a concert at the Alte Feuerwache in Mannheim. After a successful tour and collaboration with the MDR Symphony Orchestra, they bring their best songs as well as a homage to the Beatles to the stage.
