Description
Set in Prishtina, Kosovo, at the end of the 1990s, Dua tells the story of a thirteen-year-old girl navigating the challenges of adolescence amid escalating ethnic tensions and war. After a traumatic incident involving a neighbor, she struggles to find her place among peers and within her changing body. Inspired by her fearless friend Maki, Dua embarks on an unexpected path of resistance and self-empowerment. The film is directed by Blerta Basholli and offers a gripping portrayal of resilience during turbulent times.
