Description

The Icelandic ensemble Nordic Affect blends contemporary, experimental, baroque, and folk music. Composed of a violin, viola, viol de gambe, and harpsichord, they have collaborated with artists from various backgrounds, such as Björk and Maja Ratkje. The Driftwoods project ('driftwood') draws inspiration from the Atlantic Ocean to compose baroque music infused with Icelandic, Scottish, or Danish folk. Accompanied by a flutist and a tenor for this project, the musicians of Nordic Affect navigate between memory, nature, and renewal. An opportunity to discover this ensemble with unique sounds in one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world! We offer you a snack at the Pommier, then we transport you (departure at 4:15 PM) to the Music Hall, 27 Léopold-Robert Ave., (concert at 5:00 PM) before returning you to Neuchâtel.

General Information
