exactly that is what the stepmother tries to prevent. Fortunately, Aschenbrödel has three magic nuts and the support of loyal animal friends. The prince falls in love with the mysterious, veiled girl during the dance, but she flees and loses a shoe... Since the first broadcast of the German-Czech fairy tale film Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel in 1973, this story has delighted generations of viewers. It has been a fixed part of the Christmas season TV program for years. The success is obvious: this Aschenbrödel is more than just beautiful and kind – it is clever, self-confident, can ride, shoot, and climb. The prince must win her heart.
