From September 25 to 27, 2026, Bäretswil will once again be all about the Dorfchilbi. Around the Dorf schoolhouse, visitors can expect a diverse program with club offerings, catering, and Chilbi rides over three days. This year, a small Chilbi market is newly added to the traditional offerings.
The Dorfchilbi has been a fixed part of Bäretswil village life for many years. The local clubs make a significant contribution with their stands and activities, providing entertainment, culinary offerings, and social gatherings. The Chilbi thus offers not only entertainment but also an opportunity to meet and spend some carefree hours together.
A novelty premieres this year: On Saturday, September 26, from 12:00 to 18:00, and on Sunday, September 27, from 12:00 to 17:00, a small Chilbi market will take place for the first time. Various market stalls expand the previous Chilbi program and invite visitors to stroll and discover. The market vendors look forward to many visitors and hope that the new offer will attract lively interest.
The traditional Chilbi rides and attractions are also part of the festival weekend. The starting signal is on Friday evening: From 18:00 to 18:15, the rides can be used free of charge.
With the proven mix of club life, entertainment, and encounters, as well as the new Chilbi market, the Dorfchilbi also offers a meeting place for all generations in 2026. The clubs, showmen, market vendors, and the Chilbi commission look forward to a well-attended and atmospheric Chilbi weekend.
