From the Middle Ages to today, from Hildegarde of Bingen to Aya Nakamura, DIVA Syndicat tells us a new story of Western music… that of women! Forgotten women, invisible women, but above all women musicians, composers, performers, whom Gentiane Pierre and Noémie Lamour strive to rediscover, bringing the matriarchy back to the heart of our worldview.
These two Syndicalist Divas present, from a humorous and burlesque angle, ten centuries of music brought up to date. To give women musicians the place they deserve, the artists enjoy embodying their roles, those they have taken, those they have been given. It is a truly musical and theatrical UFO that this extravagant duo offers us. While the invisibility of women in society is a serious theme and more relevant than ever, the artists play with stereotypes and enjoy telling these women differently, without giving lessons… or from the back of the class and on the table!
Mise en Feu is a theatre and music company created in 2021 by Gentiane Pierre and Noémie Lamour, driven by the need to rethink everything.

DIVA Syndicat is a musical theatre show that explores the history of Western music through the lens of women. Presented by Gentiane Pierre and Noémie Lamour, this duo revisits works by forgotten women, combining humor and talent to restore their place in culture.
