Discussion with František Kinský | Moderated by Václav Žmolík

Description

Tickets are now only available for purchase in person at the Bělohradská Sýpka café (www.belohradskasypka.cz). Join us for an exceptional autumn evening in the baroque Bělohradská Sýpka! On Friday, November 13, 2026, at 19:00, we will welcome a special guest in our main hall – the charismatic aristocrat, owner of the New Castle in Kostelec nad Orlicí, and host of the popular documentary series Blue Blood, Mr. František Kinský. The evening will be guided by Václav Žmolík, a beloved publicist, television, and radio editor. This experienced author of well-known travel and historical programs (e.g., Po Česku) guarantees that the discussion will have flair, depth, and a very pleasant dynamic. We can expect a meeting full of humanity, humor, and extraordinary stories. František Kinský is known as a great storyteller who can effortlessly connect the world of history with the present. Together, we will delve into the fates of the ancient Kinský family, but we will also talk about his personal journey – from a career as a creative director in advertising to returning to his family roots and caring for family heritage. You will learn about the challenges of managing a castle in today's world and what values like honor and responsibility mean for a modern nobleman. However, this evening will not just be about listening. A major attraction is the personal book signing that will take place right after the discussion. You will have a unique opportunity to have Mr. Kinský sign a book or photograph, or to ask him a question that interests you. To make your visit to the Sýpka a true experience, we recommend arriving a bit earlier. Our cozy café will have excellent coffee, homemade desserts, and a glass of good wine ready for you. You can also enjoy your free time by visiting the current exhibition in our gallery, where historical architecture beautifully blends with art. Come and enjoy an evening full of nobility, optimism, and a lovely atmosphere in the enchanting setting of Bělohradská Sýpka. We look forward to seeing you!
