Discovery day in Fairyland

Description

Depart from Neuchâtel, aboard the Nostalgie train, and enjoy a coffee and croissant while admiring the wild landscape along the "Franco-Suisse" line through the gorges de l'Areuse and Creux du Van region. Once in La Presta-Travers, you'll have the chance to visit the asphalt mines and taste the famous ham baked in asphalt. In the afternoon, the Val-de-Travers steam train will take you back to its depot in St-Sulpice. The Nostalgie train will then take you to Môtiers, to visit the Maison de l'Absinthe. Return to Neuchâtel on the regular SBB train.
