"Dirty disco meets fuzzy funk, Anatolian rare grooves" PEKI MOMÉS

Description

The Turkish artist, who lives in Germany, brings a breath of fresh air to the groove world with her intuition and uncompromising authenticity. Turkish disco, dancefloor jazz, city pop? Everything and none of it - rather a casual border crossing through the international underground scene. Produced by Dustin Braun and backed by a band of top-class jazz musicians. Dirty disco meets fuzzy funk, Anatolian rare grooves meet experimental synths, plus a touch of library music and Japanese city pop. And in the middle of it all: her voice - unique, slightly enraptured, instantly recognizable. Her debut album, which tells the whole story for the first time, was released in September 2025. The cover? A young Peki - and it is precisely this freshness that runs through the entire project. On tour, she brings it all to the stage live. And finally turns on the lights here at TapTab. Let's get wild by accident.
