For children aged 4 and up, Maren Kaun's play 'King's Cookies' features a small bakery. Early in the morning, a baker arrives to bake, decorate, and pack cookies. And since Christmas is just around the corner, the aroma of gingerbread, cinnamon stars, vanilla crescents, hustle and bustle—and stories—fills the air. For example, the story of Mary and Joseph, who give birth to a child in a stable in Bethlehem, a story still told 2,000 years later. A star shines brightly in the sky. The shepherd with his sheep, the Three Wise Men, and the baker hurriedly set out to find the manger, see the child, and bring him their gifts. Duration: 40 minutes
