The successful tribute show THE UDO JÜRGENS STORY is on a major tour through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, performing from January to May in over 100 cities. "The Udo Jürgens Story – His Life, His Love, His Music" is an extraordinary homage to the grandmaster of German entertainment music – featuring his big hits and some lesser-known gems, as well as exciting stories about the life of this significant music legend. The award-winning film and theater actress Gabriela Benesch, a close friend of the Jürgens family, and Alex Parker, probably the best, most well-known, and most popular Udo Jürgens interpreter, take their guests on a musical journey through time, from evergreen hits like "Merci Cherie," to "Ein ehrenwertes Haus," "Ich war noch niemals in New York," "Griechischer Wein," "Liebe ohne Leiden," "Mit 66 Jahren," to "5 Minuten vor 12," "Mein Ziel," and many more hits. With humor and great empathy, Benesch shares stories and anecdotes from the personal records of the great entertainer – from Udo Jürgens' childhood to his old age.
