Description

The Swiss National Museum's collection is newly presented in the renovated historic west wing of the Landesmuseum Zürich. The renovation restores the wing to its 1898 condition, revealing original floors, ceiling paintings, and open light courtyards. Visitors can explore artifacts from medieval times to contemporary pieces, including altarpieces, tapestries, fashion evolution, and modern jewelry design. The exhibition also features a tower display dedicated to Swiss tourism in the 19th century and traditional Swiss craftsmanship.
