"In Love, Married, Happily Separated" – the joy of love and the frustration of marriage on stage. Following "Breakfast with Shakespeare" and "Breakfast with Fritz and Max," comes the third installment of the popular theater matinee with Matthias Wipf, Jens Lampater, and Special Guests. Productions from the schedule are enriched with new perspectives and complemented by illuminating and entertaining historical finds – this time also with a touch of Monty Python. In the 2026/27 season, Wipf & Lampater do not focus on a specific historical era but on the genre of comedy in the broadest sense – from Shakespeare to Feydeau, from Charlie Chaplin to Mike Müller. What must happen on stage for us to laugh down in the audience? Is there good and bad humor? And are there jokes that age better than others?
