Description
Fresh wind from Arcadia! Sounds beyond this world between art and folk music from the Baroque period to today Renaissance dances, exquisite Baroque compositions, virtuosic concerti, and entertaining classical pieces - performed in original form, but also as impulses for improvisations both solo and in duos. In addition to Purcell, Corrette, Schmelzer and Mozart, one of the highlight pieces is Johann Georg Albrechtsberger's jaw harp concert, as well as pieces from the dance manuscript of the almost unknown Anna Maria Leyersederin. The dialogue shapes the overall concept, alternating between original literature and improvisation. Ines Schüttengruber and Albin Paulus explore new ways for a lively, contemporary, and historically informed interpretation, free from dogmas and with plenty of room for new ideas and sounds, with much heart and playfulness. Detailed program follows on the website of the Musikkirche.
