Description

Join the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc under the baton of Christian Knüsel for an enchanting concert featuring Czech national music, lively pieces by Rimski-Korsakow, and the beloved highlights from Tschaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker. The program begins with Smetana's overture from The Bartered Bride, followed by Dukas' The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Rimski-Korsakow's colorful Capriccio Espagnol. After a break, the orchestra transports the audience into a fairy-tale world with selections from The Nutcracker, including the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Russian Trepak, and Waltz of the Flowers.

Held at KKL Luzern, Switzerland. No age limit. Wheelchair spaces must be booked directly with the organizer. Youths up to 16 years receive a 20% discount, available only through the organizer. The concert begins at 5:00 PM and ends at 7:15 PM.
