But what is considered healthy, normal, beautiful, capable of performance, or even human is historically grown, culturally shaped, and scientifically debated. The lecture series questions the ideas, expectations, and boundary-setting that shape our view of the body. In doing so, it offers new insights into a topic that concerns everyone and is full of surprising questions.
