The vocal ensemble stimmig! invites you on a poetic-musical research journey through the course of time. With a touch of humor, baroque poetry, and contemporary choral music – from Mani Matter to Stefan Eicher, from newly written and arranged songs to Wise Guys classics – stimmig! takes the audience on a time travel. Reflections on how time passes lead from the fleeting moment through the various stages of life to death and finiteness – but also to presence in the here and now. The arrangements come from young Swiss composers and were partly created for this concert. Included are compositions by Benjamin Rapp, Simone Baumann, Johannes Beck, and Adina Friis. The young singers of the vocal ensemble stimmig! have their roots in Solothurn and Zurich. The vocal ensemble is known for its innovative concert programs with demanding vocal works from the Renaissance to the 21st century. The ensemble is accompanied by Adina Friis on piano and Simon Iten on double bass. Philipp Auchter reads the baroque texts between the song blocks. The young singers of the vocal ensemble stimmig! have their roots in Solothurn and Zurich. The vocal ensemble is known for its innovative concert programs with demanding vocal works from the Renaissance to the 21st century. Seating is limited. Reservation is recommended. Line-up:
