Little polar bear Lars and his friend Robby try to help Caruso, but they end up on the same train. While Caruso forgets his homesickness in the arms of the dwarf penguin girl Maria, Lars discovers a giant fish from prehistory, trapped by lava flows, in the depths of the ocean.
