Under a blooming chestnut tree, a married father and a blind woman meet. A quiet, poetic love story develops between them, posing a decision with lifelong consequences. Decades later, the man returns to this place and realizes that some memories never fade—they are deeply inscribed in our innermost being. Accompanied by piano, cello, and flute, "Der Duft der Kastanie" tells of love, longing, and the choices that shape us into who we are.
