December 2, 2026: David Irimescu (Italy/Romania) The Museum Kleines Klingental owns a historic Blüthner grand piano from around 1875, known for its excellent warm sound. With this instrument, we will embark on a journey across seas and continents: students from the FHNW University of Music, Classical department, will introduce composers from their home countries and provide insight into hidden musical treasures. Additionally, they will perform works by their favorite composers. A collaboration with FHNW University of Music / Basel Music Academy.

General Information

The concert series "The «Blüthner» on Tour" takes place at the Museum Kleines Klingental in Basel. Students from FHNW University of Music perform classical works and introduce composers from their countries of origin.
