Ah, the 'model' family! A fulfilled housewife, an independent father, radiant children, an admirably groomed dog... It's the typical example of the ideal family unit, worthy of the best mail-order catalogs. But is this idyllic image really credible? What ghosts, cracks, and frustrations are hidden behind this semblance of perfection? After "Quest" and "On the Lookout," Juliette Vernerey explores the family home as an intimate micro-society where the necessary destruction of bonds gives way to cathartic reconstruction. Born from a working method blending fiction, autofiction, and collective performances, "Flood" blows up traditional codes and invokes a chosen family, in a space in perpetual transformation to better question buried violence. A sensitive, funny, and absurd journey where bodies and voices seek to reinvent what "family" means today. Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Juliette Vernerey obtained her Master's in dramatic interpretation from the Higher Institute of Performing Arts of Brussels (INSAS) in 2016. She received the Study Prize and the Encouragement Prize from the drama competition of the Migros cultural percentage in 2013 and 2014. She performs as an actress alongside Omar Porras and Anne Bisang, and in parallel, she founded the Impolie Company with her brother Jonas and Lionel Aebischer. At TPR, she was noticed on stage in "We Ride on Rails, So This Tunnel Must Lead Somewhere," "The Art of Comedy," "DIEstinguished," "Erwin Motor, Devotion," and "It Starts with Fire."
