Description
The DELILAHS have been among the most consistent and versatile acts in the local indie scene for about two decades. The band has made a name for itself with its unmistakable mix of energetic power pop, punk roots, and touching melodies – at festivals, in clubs, and beyond national borders. What once started loud, raw, and rebelliously youthful has evolved over the years without losing intensity. Their songs tell of departure, doubt, societal pressure, and the search for authenticity – themes that now gain a whole new depth in acoustic form. With their Acoustic Tour celebrating their 20th anniversary, they consciously step away from amplifiers and noisy stages for a moment – instead focusing on the essentials: voice, songwriting, and intimacy. The concerts of this tour are reduced and intimate, carried by acoustic guitars, new sounds, and a sensitive sense of dynamics. Without the usual sound pressure, space opens up for nuances – for what happens between the words. The band shows a particularly personal side: vulnerable, approachable, direct. DELILAHS Acoustic is both an invitation and a promise: to genuine moments, honest music, and a band that can sound anew even after all these years. Muriel Rhyner — vocals, bass
