Deep Purple revival

Description

Deep Purple revival is one of the first professional revivals in the Czech Republic. It was founded in 1991 by singer and band leader Miroslav “Koberec” Koňárek as a tribute to the world legend Deep Purple. Under the name Koberec Band and under Mirek's leadership, the band built its reputation and made a name for itself not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad (Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Belgium, and Italy). Renowned for its quality, it was chosen as a support act for rock stars Whitesnake and The Animals. In 2022, Koberec ended his career as the bandleader and singer. The other band members continue under a new brand and with a new singer as Deep Purple revival.
