The Collective Dreams Come True (formerly Cie Yan Duyvendak) is an artistic organization based in Geneva, active in the field of performing arts and theater. 'Dear Luigi, I Hate You' proposes to apply a process of restorative justice to a murder case, inspired by the murder of the head of a large American health insurance company by Luigi Mangione in 2024. This speculative fiction imagines a fictional meeting between the shooter and the widow of the victim, facilitated by real moderators of restorative justice and the writer Adèle Yon. This project highlights the complexity of conflicts, the importance of listening, and the fragile yet essential possibility of dialogue as an alternative to punitive logic.
