DEAD ENDS & DOLCI, now in its fifth edition, is the only bikepacking event in Ticino. Participants must reach five control points in an order of their choosing. All control points are located at the end of a dead end, in the heart of Ticino's beautiful and varied mountain landscapes. Dead ends are generally avoided. That’s precisely where their charm lies! Paths carved into the rock, steep alpine roads, and rudimentary tunnels lead – almost without traffic – to a mountain pasture or the bottom of a valley. The goal is to introduce cyclists to the region and take them to beautiful places that are still largely unknown to many. At the end of each Dead End, we will welcome you with a sweet specialty. As a reward and to give you energy for the rest of the race.
