Description
The 19th edition of the Days of Jewish Culture Olomouc festival, titled Jewish Moravia – Periphery X Center?, will focus on the historical and cultural role of Moravia within Jewish history. The program will offer lectures, concerts, theater, film, and guided tours, opening a discussion on whether Moravia was more of a periphery of the Jewish world or a distinct and influential center. We will address not only significant figures from Moravian Jewish communities but also cultural transfers, migrations, and the relationships between center and periphery. ORGANIZED BY:
