Description
What does "economy" actually mean? We might spontaneously think of complicated numbers, high-level banking transactions, or the financial market. Political economist Feline Tecklenburg knows this and therefore formulates her reading invitation as follows: "The 'we' in economy is not the 'we' of corporate executives or finance ministers. It is the 'we' of all those who care - who change diapers, cook potatoes, and help with homework." The book addresses the economy from the perspective of feminist economics, care work, and participation. In conversation with the author, we discuss questions about the relationship between care and economy, participation and exclusion, and the redistribution of time, power, and money. The Strobel bookstore will offer some copies at the evening's book table. Guest Feline Tecklenburg, author Host/Moderator Caroline Krüger, Head of Diversity and Participation Department, Paulus Academy An event in cooperation with Neue Wege Fee (including drinks) CHF 30 / CHF 20* * for members of the Paulus Academy Supporters Association and FKSZ, with KulturLegi, AHV/IV or student ID For organizational reasons, please register by October 26, 2026.Highlights
