The Perfect Secret

Description

Comedy based on the film of the same name. Eva and Rocco invite three couples to a cozy dinner. The highlight of the evening is supposed to be observing the ongoing lunar eclipse. Sitting casually together, but soon the conversation turns to honesty and fidelity: "Who knows how many couples would break up if one could peek into the other's phone?" Said and done: for the duration of dinner, phones are left open on the table, and all messages and calls are answered in front of everyone present. So while the roast is roasting in the oven, some people start to sweat quite a bit. And what begins as a fun dare soon leads to deep rifts within the circle of friends. Paolo Genovese's comedy raises the question of how much openness friendships and relationships can tolerate. The screenplay underlying the stage adaptation from 2016 has been remade in over twenty countries so far.
