So, we are dining here just now in the side room of the restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious 3-course meal this evening. Fleeing from his table neighbor, the endlessly chatty Baroness, the detective narrowly misses the supposed murder of the hostess's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg. Well, his health was not in the best shape anymore. But falling suddenly into the Maultäschlesupp is not the fine English way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the previously deadly dull evening is saved. A crime is imminent, and a very tricky case too, as the investigation results apparently rule out any influence of poison. The questioning of witnesses, the forensic doctor, and some of the dinner guests makes some innocent lambs in the hall appear suspicious.

For him, the solution to the case is naturally immediately clear. As always, he lets us stumble in the dark for a while before the murderer is masterfully caught.
