And on this night, Anna Bader is murdered in the Bavarian provincial town of Oberlettenbach with a stab to the heart. The weapon: a sharpened cross. Were religious fanatics at work here? The victim was reputed to be a witch. Commissioner Weimar, who was himself an old acquaintance of Anna Bader, takes over the investigation and stirs up a hornet's nest. Because he narrowly escapes an assassination attempt. The audience must not only help him find the perpetrator but also save his own life. Thus begins an interactive hunt for the witch murderer. It proves to be difficult, as many people in Oberlettenbach have a solid motive for the bloodshed. The washed-up actor who can no longer remember his lines, the woodworker who doesn't leave the house without his axe, or the ultraconservative Agnes Berninger, who, due to her numerous pilgrimages, would have collected so many bonus points with every Miles & More program of the church that she could fly around the globe three times. `Blood Moon` is highly suspenseful and hilariously funny, a complex puzzle that even seasoned amateur criminologists will find challenging.
