They’re back: Dan Elwood and his Twisted Smoke Band are kicking off the new blues season at the Gotthard Bar after the summer break. Their performances have been a staple of the lineup for more than two years. Led by frontman and harmonica player Dan Elwood, the Zurich-based band performs their own blend of blues, soul, and rock ’n’ roll with plenty of groove and passion. The setlist includes songs from their latest album, such as “Lonely Bluesman,” “Angel Come To Me,” and the crowd favorite “They Call Me Dan Elwood,” as well as selected classics. The regulars have known this for a long time. For everyone else: authentic blues, cold drinks, and a damn good time.
