Description

Have you ever licked a 9-volt battery? Or glued your fingers together with superglue? Young explorers live dangerously. Trying new things is inevitable. For their adult companions, this is a challenge: which dangers should be avoided and which explored? When does safety itself become a danger? DA GEFAHR! invites children and adults to explore danger together. How can we deal with our fears, and how do we learn to assess risks? Being brave, as is well known, means knowing the danger.
Inspired by the book "50 dangerous things (you should let your children do)" – Tinkering Unlimited / Julie Spiegler & Gever Tulley – the team of the research theater discovers danger as a field of research where live art, philosophical discussions with children, and direct experimentation intertwine.
