For years he fell off cliffs, exploded, was run over by trucks, and tested nearly every dangerous product that ever left the ACME factory. And while Coyote Wile E. took one life blow after another, his old friends from Looney Tunes enjoyed fame and landed leading roles – not just Daffy Duck, but also Tweety Bird, not to mention Bugs Bunny, who even earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And him? Still falling into ravines somewhere. But that’s about to change! After years of futilely chasing the Road Runner and his unbearable 'meep, meep,' Coyote Wile E. decides to take justice into his own hands and strike back. With the help of a lawyer who is as far from success as he is from catching the Road Runner, he sets out to fight against ACME! For the first time, he becomes the hero of his own story, which combines live-action scenes with legendary 2D characters, finally showing everyone what he’s made of! Behind this unusual blend of live-action film and classic animation is director Dave Green, who wanted to preserve the artistic style of the original Looney Tunes while placing their characters in the real world. Therefore, the actors did not perform against an empty space – on set, they had a real puppet of Coyote Wile E. created by the legendary puppeteer Dave Barclay, who helped bring Yoda and Jabba the Hutt to life in Star Wars and also worked on films like The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The musical score was composed by Oscar-winning composer Steven Price, who also incorporated a forty-member choir that recorded the iconic 'Meep, meep!' of the Road Runner in the famous Abbey Road studio in London.
