At 18:00, Rene El Khazraje, better known as MC Rene, will present his reading Die ungestellte Antwort. As one of the pioneering figures of German-language Hip Hop, he looks back on a career spanning several decades as a rapper, freestyler, author and storyteller. His reading combines personal experiences and observations with humour, self-reflection and his distinctive perspective on Hip Hop and life. The reading is presented by HIP HOP ZOO and NewDEF. From 20:00, Queensbridge veteran Cormega takes the stage. For decades, he has been recognised as one of the most respected lyricists in East Coast Hip Hop. Through his honest storytelling, profound lyrics and raw street poetry, Cormega has earned his place among the most important independent MCs in Hip Hop history. Classic albums such as The Realness, The True Meaning and Born and Raised, as well as collaborations with artists including Nas, AZ, Mobb Deep and Kool G Rap, underline his legendary status. With his timeless combination of authentic street narratives, personal reflections and powerful beats, Cormega represents Hip Hop in its purest form. His music combines raw honesty with exceptional lyrical precision, making him one of the most influential voices in the New York underground to this day. Live, Cormega delivers charismatic stage presence, classic songs and a performance that brings the spirit of Golden Era Hip Hop authentically to the stage. As always, the monthly LMNzh Jam stands for genuine Hip Hop in all its elements: rap, dance, graffiti, beatboxing, DJing and knowledge. From 17:00 to 20:00, the space belongs to the community, with an open cypher, exchange and the interaction of all elements. MC Rene’s reading adds another perspective on the history and culture of Hip Hop before Cormega closes the evening with his live show.
