Everything starts anew: In the Bible, 'Genesis' signifies a starting point – the moment when creation begins and life emerges. The internationally acclaimed production 'The Genesis' also celebrates the wonder of life as an impressive festival of physical strength and dance elegance: An empty canvas conveys the primordial state, an abstract, emotional landscape. Against this backdrop, a captivating circus experience unfolds, full of visual poetry and breathtaking moments, combining dizzying acrobatics with sensual community. With complex formations and tricks, a multicultural ensemble tells a touching story of compassion and solidarity, of the power of togetherness and strength through differences. A soundscape of classical music, jazz, and blues merges sacred aura with pulsating club energy, accompanying the company through their furious show. Founded in 2024, COPENHAGEN COLLECTIVE brings together 17 artists from various nations and cultures. With impressive group formations and daring lifts, the ensemble explores the limits of body, trust, and balance, showcasing their internationally acclaimed show 'The Genesis' now in Schaffhausen – for the first time in Switzerland.
