Commented Tour | Dreams of Landscape | Monika Švec Sybolová

Description

We present a supplementary program to the exhibition Dreams of Landscape, which will offer commented tours, lectures, an artistic plein air, or a botanical walk. Let yourself be drawn into the world of symbolism and secession from new perspectives! We invite you to a commented tour of the exhibition with Monika Švec Sybolová from the National Gallery Prague. Together, we will dive into the world of landscape painting from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and discover the stories, symbols, and hidden meanings of the exhibited works. Monika Švec Sybolová studied aesthetics and art history at Charles University and has been working at the National Gallery Prague since 1993, focusing primarily on education and the preparation of public, educational, and experiential programs for exhibitions and collection displays.
She specializes in the interpretation of visual art through movement, music, and text, leads courses and art workshops, and is a co-author of children's books Diary of Jakub S. and Čapek & Čapek. We look forward to your visit! Program subject to change. Photo M. Švec Sybolová | National Gallery Prague
