Dear friends of music, singing, and dance, we warmly invite you to a unique musical, singing, and dancing performance of the ancient prayer of the Aramaic Our Father during the Advent season. Come to sing, dance, or just listen. The Aramaic Our Father is a beautiful and profound sung prayer in the original language of Jesus Christ – Aramaic. Aramaic, like other ancient languages, allows for many different interpretations on the levels of body, soul, and spirit. It resonates not only with its meanings but directly with the frequency of sounds and words – it resonates its content within us. The verses of this prayer in Aramaic therefore have a deep healing and spiritual effect. There is no need to know the text or melodies in advance, as each part of the Our Father is repeated many times during the singing. Each part is varied, creating beautiful polyphonies. This way, you will gradually immerse yourself in the sound, into the body, into the meaning of the prayer behind the sung words, into deep and ecstatic joy. We have been singing the Aramaic Our Father for several years in the style of Trance-sing-dance! It is a form of prayer with the whole body, soul, and spirit, practiced by our ancestors: 'pray and sing and dance!' – pray and sing and dance!
