Description
An extraordinary look back into a nearly forgotten world: With "Wundersames Kiental," musician, author, and filmmaker Christina Zurbrügg presents a literary picture book about the Kiental in the Bernese Oberland. The focus is on impressive historical color photographs by amateur filmmaker Albert Landtwing from the 1950s. They depict life in the mountain farming village of that time and bring to life people, landscapes, and stories from a bygone era. It is a special historical document and at the same time a literary portrait of a Swiss mountain region. The book presentation at the Fabriktheater will turn into a multimedia evening: Christina Zurbrügg will tell stories, show selected excerpts from her internationally acclaimed documentary "Wundersames Kiental," and accompany the journey into the past with specially composed live music. Christina Zurbrügg grew up in the Bernese Oberland and now lives as a freelance musician, author, and filmmaker in Vienna. Her versatile work includes numerous music albums, books, and film productions. After the presentation, we invite you to an aperitif and to end the evening in a cozy atmosphere.
