Highly praised by the press and captivated by the audience, Christina Lux has been on the road since the 90s with her subtle music, clear and profound lyrics, and her great voice that touches the soul. Superficial is not. Looking closely definitely is. In concerts, she talks about her thoughts behind the songs with humor and depth, taking listeners into her stories with her poetry and music. A wonderful guitarist who also impresses as a soloist with her very own and groovy style. Since 2018, she has been performing with multi-instrumentalist Oliver George on vocals, guitar, and drums. The two already shared the stage as teenagers in the 80s and reunited in 2017. Oliver George sensitively accompanies the songs without crushing the delicate intimacy of the stories. His guitar melodies and sense for groove and sounds add special highlights to the music, which moves between pop and soul, jazz and singer-songwriter music. Stories of two musicians who wonderfully succeed in creating lively, colorful, and original music from their vast treasure of experiences. It is a joy to listen to them and it touches deeply. Christina Lux already has 11 albums. In 2018, the first jointly written and produced album with Oliver George, LEISE BILDER, was released, awarded the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik. In 2021, the album LICHTBLICKE appeared, and in 2023, the live double album LivedeLUXe.
Christina Lux has worked with Stoppok, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Purple Schulz, Astrid North, Regy Clasen, Susan Weinert, Laith Al Deen, Edo Zanki, Jon Lord, and many others.
