First-Ever Christchindli Market in Rothenthurm On Saturday, December 5, 2026, Adlerplatz in Rothenthurm will be transformed into a festive Christchindli market for the first time. From 2:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m., around 30 local and regional vendors invite you to take a leisurely stroll, explore, and linger. At the lovingly decorated market stalls, you’ll find a wide variety of handmade products, gift ideas, and beautiful items for the Advent and Christmas season. Refreshments are also available: Various food and beverage stands offer delicious dishes and drinks, inviting visitors to enjoy the winter market day in a cozy atmosphere. Something special is also planned for our youngest visitors: The Rothenthurm Playgroup will be telling Christmas stories for children in the cozy indoor area at Coiffure Schuler—a wonderful opportunity to warm up and immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit. With festive lighting, beautifully decorated market stalls, and a cozy get-together, we aim to create a place where families, friends, locals, and guests from across the region can meet and enjoy the Advent season together. The Christchindlimärcht is organized by the Christchindlimärcht Rothenthurm Organizing Committee—Manuela Ludäscher, Sabrina Schuler, Adi Schuler, and Doris Schuler—on behalf of the Rothenthurm Business Association. We are very much looking forward to celebrating the first Christchindlimärcht Rothenthurm with you and hope to establish a new, wonderful Advent event for Rothenthurm and the region.
