Chlauseinzug Etzelchlaus in Rapperswil

Description

At 5:30 PM, the Himmelschlaus with his entourage of around 30 Samichläuse and Schmutzlis with their donkeys ceremoniously arrive at the main square. Children are allowed to recite their learned sayings and songs, and afterwards, the Samichläuse and Schmutzlis distribute beaver-shaped pastries, nuts, and mandarins.
