The program Licht im Winter explores these contrasts: dark winter fantasies alongside bright musical heralds of the coming spring, lonely solo pieces alongside the collective strength of ensemble singing, artificial live electronics alongside the fragility of the human voice. Mirjam Skal composes new pieces for chant1450 in various ensembles. The program is complemented by a Renaissance repertoire from the 16th century featuring chansons by Orlando di Lasso and others.
