The South West Oldtime All Stars, a prominent group in the European traditional and classic jazz scene, present a unique jazz interpretation of Pjotr Tschaikowsky's Nutcracker Suite, arranged by Felix Fromm in the style of Duke Ellington. This concert celebrates the 125th birthday of the legendary jazz pianist and features performances by renowned musicians including Martin Auer, Felix Fromm, Gary Fuhrmann, Jürgen Zimmermann, Johannes von Ballestrem, Thomas Strabenow, and Jean Paul Höchstädter. The event highlights a fusion of jazz and classical music, paying homage to two great composers and showcasing a special arrangement for this occasion.
