The One Man Band Show Carlo Poddighe has stood for musical passion, craftsmanship, and international stage presence for over three decades. The musician, born in Italy, has been professionally active since 1993 and has toured throughout Europe and the United States during his career. With his band The Matt Project, he performed in renowned venues such as the 'Bitter End' in New York and 'Pizza Express' in London, and collaborated in the studio with notable producers like Steve Greenwell (Joss Stone) and Roman Coppola. Since 2020 – thanks to the Corona phase – Carlo Poddighe has been making waves with his innovative One-Man-Band project SuperEgo. With band rehearsals and gigs banned, Carlo thought: '... then I’ll just be my own band.' After weeks and nights of rehearsing alone in the studio, Carlo began recording his songs on video and posting them on Facebook. This allowed him to reach an international audience and achieve viral success. Since then, he has been continuously touring across Europe. Now, in autumn 2026, he is also performing in Germany for the first time! With SuperEgo, Carlo Poddighe elevates the concept of the One-Man-Band to a new level: he simultaneously plays guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and sings – completely live, without the use of backing tracks or loopers. The result is an energetic, authentic performance that captivates the audience from the very first moment. His repertoire combines a creative and entertaining mix of original songs and selected covers – a thrilling live show that unites musical diversity, technical finesse, virtuosity, and pure joy of playing.
