Feature film (France, 2025), directed by Maryam Touzani. 79-year-old Spaniard Maria Angeles lives alone in Tangier, northern Morocco, and enjoys her daily life in the city. Her life is turned upside down when her daughter Clara arrives from Madrid to sell the apartment where Maria has always lived. Determined to stay in her childhood city, Maria does everything she can to save her home and belongings – and unexpectedly finds new love and sensuality along the way. "Calle Málaga" had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2025, where it won the Audience Award. The third feature film by Maryam Touzani (after "Adam" and "Le bleu du caftan"), it is also her first in Spanish: a Moroccan-European cinematic gem, beautifully portrayed by Spanish film star Carmen Maura ("Volver"). Suitable for ages 10 and up, 116 minutes, Spanish with German subtitles.
