No German punk is also no solution, probably no Germany either, and who wants the simple slogan soup when there is first-class irony to sing along and mosh to. The Bremen duo Burnout Ostwest has enjoyed street punk credibility since its start six years ago, because well, it's no different with punk, nothing comes from nothing: one plays everyday techno-punk, the other at Mercedes Jens and Team Scheisse! Felix Büttner and Hannes Gehring definitely do not push their guitar forward with lively synthesizer support to close ranks at all costs. Contradiction can indeed be a solution approach. Speaking of which: In German-speaking pop, the Italy-Fernweh-and-Fan-Song has been obligatory and mostly sosolala successful for several years. Burnout Ostwest also practice this craft and, no wonder, do not do so badly, because "the only ones who do not get upset are dogs and tanks."
