The sextet Buntspecht has a penchant for the in-between. Their dynamic music swings from euphoria to melancholy, from lightness to dark romance. The genres they draw from are as diverse as their instrumentation. Identity seems to be something fluid here. But writing about music is as meaningful as photographing a rich buffet. You see with your ears, mouth, hands, and feet. In April 2027, Buntspecht will embark on the ENTRANCE / EXIT TOUR 2027. The tour will take the Viennese sextet through Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Austria. With them: new music to be released in 2027, marking the next step in a musical universe that consistently resists any clear categorization. Live, all of this becomes an immediate, physical experience: music to listen to, dance to, dream of, and drift away. An entrance, an exit – and everything in between that Buntspecht will create from it.
